Spam emails count 86% in Sep
According to a new report from antivirus giant Symantec, spam emails amounted for over 86% sent last month all over the
world. What’s more , the number of those spams has increased nine times since August and the malware represents 4.3% of all
spam.
Symantec also said that spam emails will increase rapidly during the ‘holiday’ period,like Halloween, Christmas in USA and
EU, and Indian festival of light Diwali and the Chinese Moon Festival, Trying attracting people as their family munbers and
friends.
USA remains the biggest source of spam, connts 1/4. Brazil occupies the second position, but is far behind the US with only
12%. India and South Korea are each responsible for sending 4% of junk emails. Russia returns again in the top 10 on the last
position but only 2%.
